Lunch Break

...no i'm not having lunch. but it's around lunch time and i need a break, so.

i'm finally done with my mid-term paper for the health law class. phew! it's so intense to have to think like a lawyer and defend my case, i swear i must have killed a thousand or so neurons while i worked on it. okay alright, it wasn't that bad. the only part i didn't like was citing the cases. oh but, i don't think i cited any (becauase i didn't refer to any). shikes. oh well, too late now. and this morning i received a critique -- a colleague whom i asked for input on this commented, "you're too honest, joan. you can't write this paper if you don't think like a lawyer." -___-  ok fine. whatever.

have a few more hours to read up on corporate law and tax exemption. doesn't look like i can finish reading, maybe i shouldn't even try. heh. anyway - this thursday there'll be a health care reform meeting among some key players from both parties and the president himself, it's gonna be interesting to see what comes out of it. here's the president's health care reform proposal, if you're interested.

alright, time is up. i should get some reading done.

sigh. for some reason my mind keeps straying away, imagining myself off on a trans-siberian train ride. one of these days when i'm sick of all these bureaucratic sh** i might just ditch everything and go live like a nomad. travel around the world in (waaaayyy more than) 80 days. or more like, travel around the world indefinitely. then i can maybe blog about it. and publish a book. and be famous. HAH.

ok time to wake up.
