So. I have a bunch of work to do right.. but I've decided I should get a breather before continuing. So while I fantasize myself being in Ahmanson Theatre sitting at the front row watching My Fair Lady the Musical, I'll write about some things that happened in my daily life. :)
On Tuesday a cute little thing happened! Or at least I thought so. When I walked into the classroom I was stunned for a few seconds to see an old lady sitting amongst the youngster like moi. Stunned for a few seconds whilst looking back and forth from her to my French teacher, I collected myself together and walked to my usual seat (which was right in front of my professor's maman - 'mother' in French). Yes indeed! You heard it right. she brought her mom to class!! Everybody say *awwww*!!! :P Isn't that cute or what?
Reminded me of my grandma, and how my mom used to bring her to work and she'll sit there and chat with my mom's colleagues nonstop! heehehe my prof's mom was no different! she's the most active participant in class till her daughter had to ask her to stop answering all the questions she asked! How adorable! :))))) And at the end of the class, I talked to her for a bit, and she told me to not give up learning french. she said it's hard at the beginning but "no worries hun you'll get through it sooner than you thought and don't worry about those vocabs just keep on reading and understand the whole context of the text and you'll be fine"! At that time I just wanted to hug her so tightly, took me quite an effort and brain power to inhibit all my muscles from stretching out 2 inch and take her into my arms..!!!
But no I didn't. didn't want her to think of me as this insane girl who for no apparent reason hugs her after a mere few mins of conversation, or my prof freaking out. not so cool. AND not to mention the possibility of jeopardizing my grades. :/ but on my way home i can't help but smiling to myself. yeah i had to look t0 the ground lest other people saw me and calls the campus police.
anyway. that's one happy thing for the week. i miss my ah mah very much... and i think i tend to have a greater affinity to elderly ladies. especially when they're superduper sweet. :) Anyways. back to my work.
Currently working on: Romeo and Juliet's 1st 3 Acts, a paper on Titus Andronicus, MCAT Physics, Politics in France (in french), and personal statements on why i wanna be a doctor.
