The Rain in Spain Stays Mainly on the Plain

When you're in pain (no not the hangover heachache pain, i'm talking about the female species' curse), take a long hot shower. When the steaming hot water burns your skin, you simply won't remember your uterus is killin' you. Yep that's my remedy. Whoever claims that chocolate helps, I beg to differ. Been munching on choc malt balls but it didn't help a bit (thank you Chean for gettin' em though :>), and now the only thing I've gained is a few extra pounds. Gotta work extra hard next week to lose them all.. :(

Then I thought of the heating pad Heather lent me some time ago when I had the same excruciating pain. Making a mental note to get it. And while I'm at it I shall list down some stuff that I wanna get.

1. a pair of sunglasses (a necessity, really, have you seen the glaring Californian sun???)
2. a camera (my old baby's going into premature retirement)
3. heating pad (why am i a girl.... sighhh)
4. a haircut (or maybe just a trim will do)

That's bout it for now, all the other stuff that I want can wait. :) And since I'm listing stuff I might as well do my new year's resolution too - it's my tradition (whether I get them done is another matter altogether *ahem*). =P

1. continue to keep in touch with all my important friends & family scattered everywhere around the world (they know who they are ;P)
   
2. save up enough to travel
3. get a job right after graduation (for OPT)
4. try to be more sociable and less of a hermit
   
5. run away from Procrastination (my affair with It has GOT to stop)
6. do what i have to do for my future career (whatever it takes)
7. shed some pounds (not gonna tell you my target, heh)
8. continue reading
9. brush up my French and Russian (just in case I decide to travel there ;P)
   

That should be all, hopefully I'll get at least half of them done by the end of the year. Righto, now I shall go find some hot choc to take away the pain... :)

P.S. the title is a line from 'My Fair Lady', if you're wondering. yah i'm just so random like that.
