Check out the crookedest street in SF! Lombard Street! It's sooo steep and crooked it's just.. W.O.W.!! And we walked all the way from Fisherman's Wharf up to the top of Lombard Street and then back to our Hostel. What a workout! They have another steepest street with no curves, called the Filbert Street. Aint the name 'Filbert' cute!? :P
And if you go San Francisco without taking pictures of the cable car or sit on one, then.. I have nothing to say. -.-
This was taken from the ferry on our way back from Sausalito, a small Mediterranean village across the San Francisco Bay, which is so beautiful that no cameras can capture the breathtaking view. That's why I didn't even bother to try (considering my cam is only 3.2 megapixels.. and also because it ran out of battery). But yes, if you guys ever go to SF, please make time for this place, you'd love it! If not for the sceneries, perhaps for the supercool sports cars that are seen everywhere!!
This is what I love. To sit at the patio and just look at people walking by, seeping in every moment of Life, observing what others do and interact... and just relax. And of course, a cuppa hot coffee with me while I sit and watch! ;)
And the blurry island is the famous Alcatraz Island, a national history landmark that was used as a federal prison until 1969 when it became a national recreation area. There are ferries that bring tourists there, but we didnt manage to go due to time constraint. The fog make this place look so... mysterious.. and spooky tooo...
