It's only human nature to wanna run away from problems when something bad happens. And that's what I did. I thought to self, ah what the heck, I need to take a clean break, away from all these unnecessary dramas, and of course, the best way to do it is to be physically away. :) Thus I went home with Sounjew and spend some family time with her family. Love the fam, they're awesome possum peeps. :) So began our little weekend trip - Sounjew, Nathan and I carpooled up to Nor Cal on a sunny Friday afternoon.
It's her little brother Andrew's graduation. :)
Her little nephews. :) Iggy (behind) and Di Di (the up-close one).
"Come let's go to the front to see Uncle Andrew."
Aww how cute! Here's how a friendship blossom.
Meet the fam. :)
This is Sounjew's daddy. He's Laotian Chinese, so we converse in Mandarin. :)
The first time I went to their house last Thanksgiving, he went out to get
me crullers and pao and made me coffee for breakfast. :)))) You can imagine how touched I was.
Playing with my new baby in the car, on our way back from the Asian Market. :)
Love that transcends words..
I love how they treat me as part of the fam and let me help in the kitchen :)
And they can make wicked iced coffee!! It's delish! hehe and I manage to fish out the secret recipe! ;)
Laotian food has a lot of vegetables. no need to worry about constipation hehehe. :P
Iggy and I spent some quality time together playing baseball :)
no lah actually all i did was throw the ball and him attempting to hit it. i love kidss..
fate brought us together and from there a friendship was born :)
love you, friend!
me the big mirror my baby the earring jeanie got me from cabazon
(it's a pair, but for some reason only one was shown in the pic).
and after a long day, we always go back home. always.
because home is where the heart lies. :)

jun: heheh. i dunno how to get one actually. my friend brandon helped me out, he got it off someone so its a 2nd hand one. :) a good deal according to him, cuz its not that old. mine is a nikon d60 (google it to check out the specs, its quite easy to use). he said this d60 is for beginners so u might wanna check it out urself! ;) as for my pictures, its just a stroke of luck! ;P (oh btw, it costs me bout 600 plus including a new lens i think.)
usd 600+ eh? hmm... i dunno how much is nikon dslr's selling over here but i guess it wud be about the same after conversion. i'm eyeing the canon eos 40D or 450D, but i guess tht will have to wait till my first paycheck arrives, which is, like, next jan -___-
