- The weather there was so terribly hot it can melt the whole iceberg of the size of erm... an elephant.
- The food is finger-licking good. (If you noticed, Penangites are always proud of their food, which of course, isn't for no reason.)
- Angpao packets I've collected are numerous, but I haven't counted the total amount I've got. (Even if I did, I wouldn't disclose it here lah.)
- Didn't have the guts to gamble.., so I didnt earn extra cash. Unlike a friend who won 700++ bucks!! -_-" Should've just put my feet down and go try a round or two!! eeesh...
- The kids are so cute. Not my kids, mind you. My dad's cousins'. They're all so active, so full of everlasting energy. Kids are adorable and fun to play with, but only when they're not yours, eh. =) If my own kids were like that, I'm not so sure I'd enjoy it as much as I do now.
- Granny still worries too much. About everything. Dad said we can't blame her, cuz she has always been 'the commander', but now she found herself so helpless, the only thing she can do is to keep on giving commands and reinforce it by raising her voice.
- I have a big family, and I love it this way. CNY wouldn't be the same if the warming rowdiness isn't there. The laughter, the jokes, the chit-chats, I embraced them all. Family ties are important, for they're where we belong to, ultimately.
- Quote from uncle Beng Kang, "Nothing is free in this world, even in gambling! You wanna learn how to master the game? Play it." Indeed. The more money you lose, the faster you learn, eh?
- Almost everyone commented that I put on weight. Should lose a few pounds for health reason.
- Rose tea is nice! Highly recommended, if you're a tea person. Oh, and another must-try is the banana and cheese 'ban chien kuay'? They're scrumptious too!!
